GTM engineering

People ask what a GTM engineer actually does, so here's the honest version: I build the machinery a startup uses to find and win customers. Sales and marketing decide who we should talk to and what we should say. I build the systems that make that happen at scale, and keep them running.

I do this full time at Ollive, an early-stage startup selling AI agents into liability insurance. A regulated buyer, a long cycle, and a few hundred accounts that actually matter. That's the constraint everything I build runs under.

Open to remote GTM engineering roles with US companies. Available from November 2026.

Day to day

What I build

Outbound research systems

Sourcing the right companies, enriching them from public evidence, and scoring every account against an ICP. Most of my week lives here.

Evaluation and reporting

An evaluation loop for GTM content — golden sets and rubric-based LLM judging — so messaging changes get decided on measured output rather than opinion. Plus the CRM data operations and funnel reporting underneath it.

Agentic workflows and internal tools

Wherever a GTM task repeats, I make software do it. Agentic workflows against production APIs, and internal tools so the team spends its time on conversations instead of busywork.

History

Before this

ByteMill Founder · Apr 2026 – May 2026

I started a company. I spent the first month on demand research instead of building, the research said the market wasn't there, and I shut it down in five weeks rather than spend a year finding out the slow way.

Vanguard Developer · Apr 2023 – Sep 2023

Developer on investment-management applications used by global clients.

Drexel University Sep 2020 – Mar 2023

Research assistant at the Wireless Systems Lab, teaching assistant for the College of Computing & Informatics. I lived in the US for four years.

Education

123 credits toward a BS in Computer Science at Drexel. Currently doing a BS in Data Science & AI at IIT Guwahati, expected 2028.

The tool stack

Python · SQL · JavaScript · Claude API · OpenAI API · MCP · Clay · Apollo · HubSpot
